This podcast came into my life at a time when I just needed a certain type of conversation, vibe and energy. I suffer from really chronic ptsd and Patrick and Gillian help me so much with my anxiety just by posting their episodes every week. As a patreon member, I was able to attend a zoom happy hour and both hosts engaged me in conversation and could not have been more welcoming, wonderful and kind. I am so grateful for every influence that is positive and I know that the work to do this show is basically at least two full time jobs. If not three. Please keep it up, you are loved P&G!!!!

The backlash of this podcast is unwarranted and from very sensitive people. Not everyone understands that drama is made up of tragedy and comedy. Dark and twisty, musical theater, and comedic relief are 3 of my love languages- I love this podcast, and I hope one day P & G do a show in Austin, TX and let me hang out with them 🩷

I used to love this podcast. Unfortunately, fame and money have changed these podcasters. Truly awful garbage bells all around. They are not accountable for their actions, nor do they care. They don’t care about their listeners and the coverage/episodes have been lacking gusto

Should be called “How do I make this murder about myself or my family” bc Patrick finds a way (or 5) to make it about him. Gone way downhill in my opinion

Gillian (known friend of her dear friend Damian) is one of the most insufferable people on planet earth. She constantly degrades men, acts like she’s better than everyone and the pillar of social consciousness besides doing nothing but pretending to have empathy (you can feel the cold in her soul with each listen), and has never once admitted to a fault of her own, or ever being part of a problem; it’s always mediocre straight white mens fault. She uses her fake bisexuality, her womanhood, and her past victimhood to act with a sort of diplomatic immunity. I don’t blame her for being jealous of Ellyn, Ellyn is an overall better person, and has an actual career to be proud of outside of podcasting.

I use to love me some Patricia and GP but once all the information came out about his behavior in and outside of the workplace and GPs silence and lack of accountability, I cannot in good faith support this show. It’s really sad to say but these both deserve the garbage bell. Ding ding.

Funny how they both defended working 11 weeks for free during their coverage of “quiet on set” saying it was her choice. … because they did that to Daisy E. They had to get rid of the garbage bell because it started ringing for them.

I love true crime, but these two are obnoxious. New Years Eve murder is the only episode I’ve listened to and I just find it disgusting that they’re joking non stop while they’re talking about this poor man’s murder. Patrick’s laugh is obnoxious! And I should not know your political views five minutes into a true crime podcast.

This trash is utterly unbearable. And I’m talking seconds in.

After their Obsessed Fest scandal in 2023, P&G have their on and off recordings. Half of the time, they are being their old silly selves and seem really into telling the story. The other half they just feel like they are going through the motions to push content. P still has some issues with cutting G off either in the moment or it is happening in post. When P is really in the moment his laugh is everything. When G is in her feelings on a subject her wit and sarcasm are on point.

Picking on Red Hatters, get over yourselves. Not everything is about Black Lives Matter (a very corrupt organization).

I started listening in 2020 and I haven’t stopped! I wish there were more ones about scandals similar to the Charleston affair, the basketball brawl one, and I really loved the Chowchilla one. What I love most about these is that I can connect with my crime obsessed grandparents about them- and they tend to remember when the events happened! Thank you both, and those behind the scenes, for giving me something to listen to that gives me big laughs, interesting facts, and sometimes tears. Your personalities shine.

Chrissy Teigen is a bully I hope you know that since you’re obsessed with her !!! And Gillian is not ok the way you talk about men !!! All men are not the same , my dad is a wonderful man that has made sure my mother has the best care since she’s always been sick due to a stroke she had 30 years ago . And I’m raising two boys (they’re teenagers) now that I remember you hate teenager as well , you always say “teenagers Are the worst “ and they are the most respectful boys towards everyone .

Gillian is so angry and so mean she spews all kind of hate I just can’t handle it. Patrick is sweet and well meaning but should stand up to her more. I think I’ll stick to “I Think Not”

I used to love this podcast so much. It was truly a true crime comedy podcast where Patrick and Gillian would keep a lighthearted and humorous demeanor while talking about serious topics. The documentaries they covered were interesting, and I’ve agreed with the a lot of the views they have. Along the way the podcast took a negative tone. For a long time Gillian was so angry at everyone and everything and gave off a self righteous “not like other girls” vibe. Patrick’s commentary became a lot of interrupting and a lot of what he said was no longer funny. The podcast turned into a rant about how everyone besides them is garbage, putting down views that are different than their own, the humor disappeared, and it seemed like they were tolerating each other as just coworkers and not friends. I took a break for a while and recently decided to give them another try. Honestly now, it seems like they are watching more of what they say and are trying to bring the humor back to what it was before. This podcast has definitely lost its spark along the way but I truly hope P & G become better people and turn the podcast back into what it once was. If they can stay on a track to doing better I will be a full time listener again.

I keep trying to give this show another shot. I want to like it. But it has just gone completely off the rails. First of all, it USED to be a comedy podcast. There are no more jokes. Now, it’s not even a recap podcast, where they talk about the documentary. It’s now just a discussion of a crime, using the documentary as an outline, where Gillian and Patrick sit in judgement on everyone involved. They have also built a little echo chamber around themselves, so they’ve lost touch with reality. In a recent episode, Gillian accuses Ashton Kutcher of finding a gruesome crime scene and fleeing. Does she have ANY evidence of that? Nope. She just has her own experience of assault, the fact that Ashton Kutcher wrote a letter of support for Danny Masterson, and the fact that Ashton Kutcher is famous and showed up late to a date. You can tell that in the recording, even Patrick thought she was going too far. This show lost its way. The hosts are unhinged and a bit self-important and it’s a shame. For a while, this podcast was something special.

Horrible. Don't waste your time. The hosts are annoying and just want to hear themselves talk.

I listen while I work and it makes the day go by so fast!

Respectfully, Patrick & Gillian, I think it’s different for a mom who just gave birth. Your body has gone through so much giving birth, then you’re breastfeeding, & trying to bond w/ your new baby. The mom’s parents take care of her, do housework, & cook a special soup that’s nutrient rich & restorative. 100 days is benchmark to show that the baby is thriving.

Stop deleting peoples feedback for one. Take some accountability for two. These hosts are toxic bullies. They seem to think they’re doing more than police and investigators by doing a recap of documentaries. Gillian, you are a privileged white woman who grew up in a wealthy household so cool it with the know-it-all woke holiness. You went to private school and rich kid bars as a teen. Patrick how dare you be mean to Alaina because she prioritized her sick child over your hot mess of a fest. I like how in the most recent episode you said “if this was happening to my employee I’d do xyz” no you wouldn’t, you treat your staff like trash. Ya’ll have become exhausting and YES we know what you mean, you don’t have to say it ALL the time. I guess failure isn’t your option but your choice.

Something just doesn’t sit right with me about how they bullied Sarah Edmondson from the Vow. They went after her relentlessly during their coverage of The Vow, and for many episodes after that. They also went so hard after Mark Vicente for saying that no one joins a cult, they join something they think is a good thing. Now Gillian says that all the time but never acknowledges how ruthless she was towards Mark for saying the same exact thing. To bully Sarah so hard core and then put on a series called Let The Women Do the Work, it just feels very performative. They owe both Sarah and Mark an apology at the least.

Great show, absolutely love their content..BUT it feels like over the years more and more is only on their patreon AND the remaining free content on the podcast is absolutely cluttered with a ton of ads. Hate to see it.

I can only listen to the hosts at 75% speed, which then makes the clips horrendously slow. I like the overall content, but why are the hosts talking like they’re on speed or at a 1.5% speed? And the SCREAMING! It’s nothing but screaming! Especially Patrick. Slow down, take a breath, and not everything has to be screamed. I can’t do it anymore.

Everything is offensive now and no one is allowed grace if they’re cancelled for a mistake in their past (except Chrissy Tiegen iykyk) the research is lazy and it seems like one of them just fills the other in on what they’re covering. They try so hard to come off as friends but it’s clear these 2 are just coworkers. Gillian boasts about how much she loves women but is a real life mean girl who doesn’t like other women for no reason other then simply being themselves. This used to be a weekly listen for me but i have now taken off the rose colored glasses and see how insufferable these 2 are.

I have a hard time believing anything they say. It’s like seeing OZ behind the curtain…their lack of personal accountability for how they treat their fans and coworkers is pretty disgusting.

Hilarious conversation. Great banter. I work all day listening to these two. Thank you guys!

Over time the podcast has become more and more vapid and narcissistic in tone.

It used to be a weekly listen. I now only listen when I can’t find anything else. The research has become a bit lazy and questions they ask each other can easily be answered by giving it a “goog” as they both say. I think the podcast is slacking due to the fact that they both have other side projects going on and the lack of their research/interest shows.

The way she seems to “put up” with Patrick has gone too far. She is very dismissive of him. I used to like the banter of two friends but now it seems like they’re just coworkers. Bashing the police or white people or men in general doesn’t make any more tolerable.

I go back and forth with this podcast. My biggest thing is it is SO hard to follow. They are CONSTANTLY making references to TV shows, broadway shoes, celebrities, just random things that most of us have no idea about. It gets so incredibly confusing. I feel like 90% of the time I just have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.

I like the show except when Gillian is mean to Patrick

Somehow I have just discovered this podcast and I’m loving it. Any podcast that references Waiting For Guffman is next level!

I used to be HUGE fan of this podcast. Over the past year it has just declined. I’ve been waiting for them to find themselves again but it has been painful. I love how they keep the victim first in the retelling. But they keep insisting on not mentioning the killers name. This makes it hard to follow. I think they forgot they’re recapping a story. A lot of other podcasts manage to do it. They used to do it. I feel like I’m getting lectured by Gillian when I listen. There really is no more comedy. Maybe since Patrick is no longer sexualizing men he doesn’t know how to be funny. I still subscribe only to listen to their earlier episodes.

I haven’t found any podcast in years that really caught my attention but this one had me hook-line & sinker at Patrick’s laugh! Great content, fabulous hosts - as our friends would say, “I’m obsessed with them” ❤️

Found this podcast about two months ago and I’ve binged much of it. I love listening to their take on docs and it saves me having to watch them in their entirety. Sometimes the screech is a little extra and the opening with plugging personal projects is tiring but I get it … it’s their living. I love the show and their personalities. One of my fav podcasts ever.

I just read a review where someone was complaining about all the shouting, so it inspired me to write my own. LOVE the “gay gasp,” frequent snorts, and yes the screaming. Listening to the two of you makes me look like an idiot in public when I randomly start laughing. Thank you for being brave enough to make this your full-time career ❤️
