LOVE this podcast & yay!! You’re back!!!
Absolutely love Jesse’s podcast. He has a great outlook on life and has a way of imparting life hacks/self-help tips without sounding preachy or sanctimonious. I know he has recently talked about changing the name of his show, so that it doesn’t feel confined to a demographic of people that are only in school (and, I think that this is a great idea). While I’m in school currently, I don’t think that being in school is a requirement for gaining knowledge from this podcast. In fact, during periods of time when I was taking a break from school, I still found myself coming to this podcast to listen. Great storyteller & never boring. Thank you for the high quality content!! Keep it up. (updated: 10-15-23)

Some of the best advice I’ve ever heard !
I recently started listening to your podcasts after searching for something suitable for a sophomore in college. This was right on time ! I listen to a new episode everyday at work and it’s so inspirational and motivating, thank so much for deciding to set up a mic and speak in it every week, this should be your greatest accomplishment!

One of the worst human beings I've ever heard speak.
I just listened to all I could stomach of the episode "Anger could ruin your life." This person should not offer advice to college students. After he shared a story about how he almost jumped out of his car recently to punch a bicyclist (who was angry at him for nearly killing him), I thought, hm. This guy doesn't seem to have much self-awareness. He still seems to think the bicyclist was in the wrong, even though he claims to take "100% responsibility." But, okay, pretty typical human behavior. Maybe he's got some insights. But then he decides to share a story of how, in his younger days, he was "blessed" to get off scott-free from near manslaughter. He talks about creating a horrifying road rage incident in which his angry decision literally caused another car to fly into oncoming traffic where it was hit by an elderly couple's cadillac. How is it possible he was "blessed" to not have HIS life ruined by that event? He lied in court and told the judge he had done an illegal lane change. In reality, he had sped in front of the car and slammed on his brakes because they'd cut him off. I still can't believe this story was shared publicly and that he is the host of a "college success habits" podcast. I wish someone would report him for lying under oath and I wish this podcast would get cancelled. I understand his intent, but the perspective is so shockingly self-centered - down to the title of the episode, "how it could ruin YOUR life" (aka how he almost ruined his life) - that it made me feel sick. Maybe change the title to "how anger could ruin four innocent people's lives." To be fair, I could not stomach the rest of the episode and had to turn it off after he used the word "blessed" twice. Hopefully he had some wisdom about anger to offer, but it seems like that's still in development.

Great information and fun to listen to!
Jesse is very engaging, has a lot of information and makes the episodes so enjoyable to listen to. He’s also a great interviewer. I really enjoyed the episode about the first year experience because I help high school seniors transition to college, as a coach.

Love
I love listening to Jessie, weather I’m at home or even at work, I like listening to him. He has some great ideas, the first episode I listened to, (im not sure the title of that specific episode) but he talked about creators, traditionalists and rebels. I was intrigued by his interesting ideas, from there on I kept listening to more episodes. He has very clear and straightforward motivational ideas. He’s so smart, and everything he says can be put to use. His voice is nice, he’s funny and gives a comfortable/relatable vibe. He puts himself in the listeners position and makes sure we can follow his ideas throughout the podcast. I really like listening to him! My go to these days. I hope he makes more episodes soon!!

Exactly what I needed to hear
I woke up Monday morning to a room full of clutter and 28 homework assignments due on Tuesday. That’s right. 28. I wasn’t like this in high school but since I’ve went to college I have lost all motivation. I searched college in the bar and I’m so glad to have found this. It’s everything I needed to hear. Thank you!

Amazing brain!
Learn from this guy’s brain! Just through osmosis you will learn to learn faster, and DO faster. Jesse will focus you on one angle of success and then explode it into a thousand different ways for you to access that one angle. Then he will break things down and make everything easier. You never know what he is going to think of next. And he’s all around entertaining at the same time. Thanks!
