Been listening consistently for about 2 years now. Feels like I’m hanging out with my friends Talkin ball. If I ever see you guys at a bar, beers on me for all the free content!

I am old now, I really enjoy listening to each of you for various reasons. You guys own your biases from upbringing or playing history & you guys are entertaining. I am cleaning pools while I listen, it helps make me not think about the mundane task that I am doing & just enjoy the moment. I love all Baseball & the Soap-Opera of Sports! Fan of :Braves , Rangers, Ray 8 year old me loved Dale Murphy & Dennis” OilCan” Boyd!

What if you guys created a team based on the units that were left out, like a best of the rest? That would add some additional pressure to make sure you choose the best units you can, and then you will have a fifth team to measure against - you better hope your team finishes with a better score!

Phenomenal effort always

This podcast gets me into the MLB more than ever. Whenever I need to be caught up on what happened, this pod’s got my back

So many great things about this podcast — no stupid drive-time sports radio-style hot takes, perspectives from both hardcore fans in Jake and Jomboy and a former MLB player in Trev, the list goes on. This is a minor detail, but it does make a difference: Talkin' Baseball has the most bearable mid-episode ads of any podcast I listen to. Jake usually rips through them without skipping a beat and then the boys get right back to the content. I don't think I've ever used the skip ahead button. Bravo!

Fun and entertaining stuff to go to bed to! I love baseball!

The hosts recap the MLB games played twice a week, reviewing each series played. Knowledgable amd they love the game.

Used to be better a few years back. But I get it, they’re really successful now and have their show a certain way. Jomboy seems to be getting more bitter every year, doesn’t really seem like he was in 2019. Maybe he’s just getting burnt out. But, this podcast still has its moments and is still a good enough listen to stay subbed to it and at least give every episode 20 minutes before you decide if you want to skip. BBD, your fake laugh is horrible. Stop.

Hating on the cubs hiring Counsell. Says they “overspent” on him. Could’ve hired him for $4 mil and used the other $4 mil on a good reliever. Uhhh do you not understand that it doesn’t go towards the team payroll??

I pretty much just listen to this until Baseball is Dead comes out. You spend too much time talking about baseball games that don’t have to do with the story of the mlb season

This period of time before the Trade deadline should be named Fate Week.

The baseball topics are deep. Love the coverage and baseball stats. Hot Takes are amazing.

This gives me a lot of good info. It really helps me make my podcast, Fastball Fever. Aren’t really good with their ads, but besides that it’s an awesome pod.

I legit listen to this podcast half as often as I would if the ad reads weren’t so long and obnoxious. Also, jomboy kept things moving. Jake is great for adding color, but he’s laborious as the main host. Try editing, boys.

Of course now that there’s suspicion with Judge and the Yankees after Blue Jays series and German straight up caught cheating it’s only Jomboy and Jake on that episode to come to defense. BIAS!

Show was a 5 star with Jomboy. Without him Jake and Trev are scattered and all over the place. They’re constantly rushing to get through the end so they can go on to record other podcasts. If you don’t have the time to record the show then find someone that has the time. I’m moving to a Wednesday only listener until Jomboy is back (should he return)

Great insight and very interesting but I would love it if it did not cuss so much. Like, even at the most random times. I have to use headphones with it.

Chemistry between Trevor and Jake is great. Naturally funny guys, know a ton about baseball. When the seasons on, I’m always listening.

Jake is good when he has jimmy to work off of but Trevor is just awful as anything more than an occasional insight. And while I certainly am not offended by cursing Trevor’s vulgarity has gotten so ridiculous that I am embarrassed to listen except through headphones. I think I’m going to start only listening to the Wednesday episodes.

Been a big fan of JM for years now and I listen to Talkin Baseball regularly throughout the season. But with less Jimmy and more of Plouffe’s disagreeable takes this year, it’s made quite a few episodes hard to listen to

I was looking for a podcast that was the baseball version of Spittin Chiclets and this is it! Love the pod and the Plouffe insight to the game.

The biggest improvement has probably been Trev saying innings now instead of ennings. Come to think of it, please go back to ennings. I liked that better.

Reward pitchers for working within the clock. Like give them 3-5 more seconds after a strikeout. Maybe that’s cool.

This is one of those shows where the hosts think they are much funnier and hipper than they are. They just don’t offer much in the way of insight or analysis- they don’t even seem to try very hard to get past the surface level. Sorry not a fan.

Jake and Jimmy seem like they have a great friendship and an authentic love for the game. Trevor Plouffe does add the player perspective.

I love listening to this podcast while heading to bed but the reason why it is 4 stars is that it has some swearing which isn’t the best

Enjoy listening for the baseball insight, but guys - you’re basically always glass half full. Cubs winning the division? I turned that episode off after that comment from Trev
