I find myself replaying episodes to really digest this content. Worth it!

I thought the information was often helpful but had to quit listening because the way she presented was so grating. It’s very stilted and slow, with emphasis in odd places as if she’s reading the script for the first time. I really wanted to like this but think I will need to stick to her written resources.

I’m reading The Convivial Homeschool and LOVE it so when I found this podcast I was so excited! The only negative is the awful recorded music at the beginning and end! It is very distracting. I always have to skip over those parts and start listening when the music stops. The content is worth skipping the intro and end though.

Mystie’s podcast has revolutionized how I menu-plan—now it’s a sustainable practice instead of a weekly chore I never get to. Possibly my favorite episode was the one about the Sabbath from a mother’s point of view! Thanks for all the attitude adjustments.

I love this podcast! As a homeschooling Mom of 5 young ones I am ALWAYS encouraged and challenged (in a good way!) by what Misty says. Often the topics are providentially applicable to current circumstances. Well worth your time! I only wish they were published more frequently!

I found this podcast while researching online checklist/agenda items. Not only was that search an answer to my prayers but so was this podcast and all the content within it! I’m newer to homeschooling and have 2 elementary children, along with my newly homeschooled 13 year old step daughter. Trying to navigate the one week on, one week off has been hard but I’m so thankful for this podcast and the many ideas it has given me in homeschooling older kids!!!

As a new mom and homemaker, I love listening to Mystie’s experience and learning from her practical tips and encouragement to anchor all in a Christian attitude for real meaningful days and productivity.

I think this is probably the best podcast I have ever listened too. Though short, each episode packs a punch—sometimes straight to the gut, but honestly, I need it! I also love that each episode is short. I don’t have time for much more than a few minutes here and there. Thank you Mystie for your realness and gospel centered words. I’m forever grateful for the help you have given me!

This is such a breath of fresh air! Many times, at the end of a day of school lessons, I feel so deflated and I love this podcast to redirect me and refocus me on what truly matters. I think the music is fabulous. Not many people can appreciate a little distortion on an electric guitar, but it’s lighthearted and unpretentious and we can all appreciate that.

Mystie always has great tips and resources for the mom who is trying to build a cheerful and God glorifying home. And she is t afraid to giving a loving, biblical kick in the pants about your own attitude and remind you that moms need to repent too! Practical and thoughtful.

I’m naturally a more organized person. Sometimes, maybe too concerned about it, to the detriment of loving my people well. Misty keeps bringing me back to the truth that organizing my attitude FIRST (and repeatedly) will be the path that brings lasting joy, peace, and organization.

Love Mysties heart and teaching. It’s so encouraging. But the music intro is really loud and kind of obnoxious. Doesn’t fit the feel of what she teaches. Otherwise awesome!!

5 stars. My oldest is 13. I wish I had this podcast when he was born. Mystie’s Biblical message is encouraging and beneficial. I just starting listening and the self- care episodes are fantastic!!

Love Mystie and her message especially this months focus on “self care”. This reading by Abby was spot on. I have been reflecting on this self care mantra and I keep finding myself wondering how I will gain more virtue if I eliminate all my suffering. I get my self care by waking early, have for years and pray sometimes half hearted sometimes with such intensity that there is no mistaking this is exactly where God wants me. Serving my husband of 30 yrs and our 6 children simply and cheerfully. My other occupation is Nurse, so I know all about the necessity for self care of a loved one when you are the sole care provider. As wives and mothers we sneak in snippets of time to regroup or better said repent rejoice repeat!

The music “background” music. I appreciate all the content, everything she has to say and am grateful for this podcast but the loud music that doesn’t match this podcast whatsoever is so loud and unnerving :(

Brief and to the point which is what a busy mommy of many needs! Many podcasts are good but lengthy and I simply don’t have the time to listen to them. I love being able to learn and be encouraged by listening to a whole episode of this wonderful show! Love every episode!

I really like this podcast. It’s a good space to reflect and process really good things. It’s a podcast discussing classical topics that really speak to me. HOWEVER, that music choice is just...confusing at best. It’s distracting and sort of jolts me out of whatever I was drawn into thinking over during the podcast. It’s really great, otherwise but man...that music is annoying!

I love how brief and to the point these podcasts are! As a mama and magistra, I simply don’t have the time to listen to many other homeschooling podcasts even though I really want to. These podcast are brief and to the point. And I always end my listening with actual practical things I can do in my life to make my situation better.

Some days you need a pick me up of motivation and encouragement. That is what this podcast does for me. The content is concise, beneficial, and revitalizing. I am thankful for Mistie and her wealth of knowledge! Keep up the great work!

Every stay-at-home homeschooling mamma needs to listen to this podcast! So practical and helpful! Short listens for when you just have a couple of minutes in between things.

I know I'm in the minority, but I don't find the interpretations of CM's writings through a Classical perspective hold up to be true. I just wanted to say this as a new to the CM method mom, that I have been so confused in trying to find out what CM "really" is with all the current conflicting interpretations of CM out there today... Side/Minute Critique: The music is very distracting. I think there are better options out there to fit a more Classical Education "Atmosphere."

I love that this is short and sweet and easy to listen to a couple at a time. Mystie is great at being concise and getting to the point.

I'm a big fan of Mystie Winkler, and am just now getting around to her podcasts. She doesn't disappoint! These podcasts are not a bunch of fluff, they are concise and truly useful. As I prep for the upcoming school year, I am finding these incredibly helpful and inspiring.

Ever since I discovered Mystie's blog, I have thoroughly enjoyed the content she puts out. However, I don't always have time to read each post. I am thrilled she's created an audio blog so that I can listen to her wisdom! They are the perfect length and full of the shot-in-the-arm info I need to start my day off right!

Just like her blogs, this audio blog is the perfect combo of inspiration, conviction, encouragement, and practical application. Love the short segments that I can listen to while making lunch for my kids.

I am a big fan of the Schole Sisters podcast and was so excited to see that Mystie had started her own podcast. With a toddler underfoot, I often don't have time to read blogs, so this audio format is wonderful. I loved the most recent episode on "Repetion" - such a nuanced and fresh perspective - and am in awe of Mystie's knowledge and ability to disseminate all this education information for us. Thanks for all you do Mystie, I don't know you personally, but have been very blessed by all that you do!

I just recently started listening to homeschool podcasts. I subscribed to every one I could find and have slowly unsubscribed myself from many of them leaving only a handful of the best in my feed. This one made the cut. At first I wasn't sure if I liked the audio blog format but in the end the content won me over. This podcast is so full of truth that I feel uplifted and encouraged at the end of each podcast. I'm always glad I listened <3

I have benefitted so much from Mystie’s free advice on podcasts, periscope, her youtube channel and her blog. It’s amazing how a shift in perspective can turn the drudgery of chores and obligations into tasks with meaning and for our own personal growth if we have the right mindset. I appreciate the interesting quotes and particularly loved the Seeking vs. Seeming podcast. It has really challenged me personally. Thank you!

I have always loved Mystie's blog, but I have found it difficult to make time to actually sit down and read through it. Having this audio blog resource is perfect for me, and it is really excellent. Great sound engineering, lovely intro that I actually find myself listening to each time (instead of fast-forwarding like I do with most, because they get really old!), nice printable resources, etc. Also, I know Mystie really doesn't like reading aloud, so I appreciate her willingness to do this for us. Her podcast voice is super easy and pleasant to listen to. Bravo!

I have been a long time fan of Mystie's blogs, so I was super excited when she came out with her podcast. She is always to the point, speaking the truth in love, and I always come away with something to think about that I want to implement in my own life.

These small snippets of classical wisdom applied to the daily life of a homeschooling mother are very encouraging and educational.

Mystie says in the intro this will be meaty. She's right! Just the right size portion to chew on for awhile. I had planned to listen to more than one in a sitting, but then I decided I'd like to ponder the first one a bit more first. No fluff here. Just the good stuff.

I am so excited that Mystie has started a podast! I love her wisdom and faithfulness in her approach to life, home, and homeschooling, and I really value her practical helps to those areas! I also really love the length, as it gives short little bits that are easy to fit in but are so rich and filled with things to continue to ponder and apply far beyond that. So rich! I just popped over and listened to one tonight, and it was so timely and challenging in the very best way!

Her planning course was just what I needed to take this past summer! I have implemented some of her ideas and they have helped me tremendously! Looking forward to learning as much as I can from her podcast!
