We get it, you don't like Taylor or her clothes. Why talk so much about her then? Why go so far to tamp down the joy and love some of us have for her? Just don't talk about her. Easy solution. It's a terrible look and it makes me never want to listen to this show again.

Used to Love anything with Juliet; tolerate condescending Dobbins. But after 10+ years of their ineptitude including laughing about Food Deserts, quoting the most tired phrases, and Juliet never sharing anything about her personal life. She has the AUDACITY to criticize Taylor’s best album which she has not even listened to —- and has admittedly for years never been a person to listen to lyrics. Is this real. Do Better, as Amanda her righteous self commands of everyone. “we wish you well” who says that so inauthentic?

I was hopeful about the new We’re Obsessed, but after listening to the first episode, I’m not entirely sure how these two are obsessed with pop culture. Chelsea consistently seemed to not have a frame of reference for people and events that Jodi brought up, so maybe it’s the pairing that’s not jiving. Really missing Tea Time 😔

So many reviews agreeing that Amanda is a problem. The ringer folks seem charmed by her, the listeners do not. Amanda was at her peak of annoying this week when she essentially mocked everyone who marveled at and enjoyed the solar eclipse. If Amanda didn’t experience it and think it was cool, then no one should. Why is this woman given a weekly platform?

Another Ringer pod I’ve had to unsubscribe from… Amanda is such a curmudgeon, and almost always unprepared. Please stop relating every single topic the woes of parenting. Everything I’ve learned about Knox has been against my will!! That being said, I miss the banter of tea time and listening to discussions about pop culture by people who didn’t think they’re above it. Perhaps JL and AD should start a separate podcast about formula 1, luxury knitwear, Europe, and Lauren Sanchez. Good grief.

First off, let’s talk about Amanda’s inability to allow someone else to get a word in edgewise. She interrupts everyone she interacts with. It’s annoying enough on The Big Picture but it’s completely unbearable on Dish. Second, they should keep Megan Markle’s name out of their mouths. The minute she wears, eats, or reads a thing it sells out or becomes a best seller. It’s about time she creates her own brand so she can start cashing in. Oh but according to y’all, she and Harry are grifters who don’t want to work. Listen, Megan has BEEN successful and has always worked hard. She knows how to hold thoughtful conversations and turn a look. You don’t have to like her but the obvious hate is distasteful and you both just come off as plain old haters. Move around and if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.

I used to love this show but the Megan hate of late has rendered this show nearly unlistenable. It was never really okay before but tolerable when the hosts poked fun at Megan’s ill-fitting clothes (*gasp* she doesn’t have a royal tailor at her disposal anymore!). However, the vitriol lately, particularly from Aman-duh, is just plain unwarranted. I expect this backlash from the royal (and mostly racist) press but from these ladies? Incredibly disappointing. I’m not a Megan/Harry stan either but this woman deserves an honest chance to try things without fear of receiving an onslaught of criticism from women who nitpick everything she does. Did you tell Gwyneth to “stick to acting” when she started Goop or, more importantly, were you as critical of her company name (really GOOP??!). I know as employees of The Ringer (and Spotify/Bill Simmons) you’re required to hate Harry and Megan but you really come off as bullies. Some advice? Why don’t YOU stick to fawning over JLo docs and Ben Affleck’s every move and leave Megan in peace. Unsubscribed! This podcast could honestly be called Karen Session as of late. We get it the most of the Ringer hates Meghan and Harry based on Bill’s experience. Maybe just don’t cover them then? It makes the podcast unbearable. Meghan needed to delay her probably long awaited launch because mystery and now confirmed Kate sickness. (Same for the King.) I also know not one person who commemorates March 14th as the start of COVID. For my family it happened a week earlier, when New York started shutting down (I know this because we had taken an ill planned trip to Florida and flew back as things were shutting down.) And 4 years later none of us are commemorating it. Perfect example of any date she would have picked would have caused shaking heads. At this point, it gives off very heavy Karen vibes, which was not my prior view of the pod, especially not of Juliet’s body of work. (Amanda has obvious blinders when it comes to race, maybe next time Juliet should check in with Rachel or Callie before speaking on Meghan.)

Love Juliet, really miss tea time, hate what about your friends, I wish it didn’t clog up my feed.

I used to listen religiously to tea time every week. Amanda and Juliet are just not as fun, funny, or interesting as the tea time girls. Amanda and Juliet think they’re feminists with nuanced views but their takes are always laced with such clear misogyny.

Amanda and Juliet’s content feels very boomer but I guess it’s gen x. Without tea time don’t really listen anymore :/

They come across the best on their shows!

I found this podcast after searching for Harry’s book Spare and I’m co fused about the hosts definitive opinions about Harry and his memoir without ever heaving read it! They mentioned “going to buy the book” half way through and I was done. This episode was based on media interviews and their opinions about his therapy choices. Just wow.

Please watch whatever you’re talking about. Being unprepared and winging it is so boring.

I LOVE everything Juliet Litman!!!! I really dislike the “What About Your Friends” part the channel, it just clutters my inbox. But 5 stars for Juliet.

I miss Tea Time!Jam Session and What About Your Friends just don’t do it for me. Giving 4 stars to not be rude, but tbh I rarely listen to Dish at all anymore. I miss Amelia and Liz!

I listened to the Taylor Swift episode thinking it was OK and then got to the end where they raved about the Gilded Age. One of them said this show makes her feel alive and is the reason she loves TV. What???!!! It’s the worst! So, for me, nothing these podcasters say has any resonance. I won’t listen again.

Juliet and Amanda seem like they are doing this podcast against their will. Juliet in particular. They basically just raise a topic, admit they didn’t research it, and then say “I just think it’s weird.”

I used to love this feed but it’s gone downhill the last 6 months or so. The hosts don’t seem to enjoy the topics, and lately do the bare minimum of research. (I nearly lost my mind when they covered the Met and couldn’t be bothered to research the hosts beforehand. Same with recently covering tree vs. Deux Moi. They missed so much.) Move on or please refresh!!

Amanda + Juliet have me feeling seen every week. Pros with great takes. WAYF hasn’t found it’s footing. Rooting for it but it’s not a good listen. RIP TT. Maybe bring Kate back to special guest.

I’ve been listening to these women for some years now. But I just can’t listen to them anymore. Amanda’s voice here and at the big picture is unlistenable. Please replace her with Joanna or Mallory or somebody. the content isn’t necessarily bad it’s just her voice in her attitude. Also I missed her time. The younger girls had a freshness to them and the friends podcast is really bad. Just remove it. Yes, you did need more Hispanics in the ringer world but this isn’t it

I love the topics of the show but I can’t listen when Amanda is on. Please please please tell her not to talk so much and to stop interrupting. I literally have to turn it off when she’s on.

This feed is suffering without Tea Time.

Really snarky show. If you’re into hate-watching this might be you’re cup of tea. With the Holiday season approaching I had to drop this podcast. Listened to it for two months, definitely a summer podcast when scripted reality TV is at its peak.

This feed was once so fun! Miss Tea Time and Jam Session feels a little bit inconsistent. The friendship podcast is probably the most confusing and bland podcast I’ve ever listened too. Going to unsubscribe for now. Will try back in a couple months

But this feed has become unlistenable. Jam Session is rough lately. Amanda and Juliet are at their best when they have more thoughtful conversations covering lanes others don’t (like real estate, specific celebrity profiles and such) that they actually seem excited about. When they try to cover things that aren’t in their specific interests, it’s a lot more negative (Juliet) and clear they only read an article or two on the Daily Mail or Page Six. For example, please stop talking about Taylor Swift. You make factual errors almost every single time you talk about her that a google search could fix. It’s embarrassing and cringe. I’ve only been able to fully make it through one episode of What about your friends? Please bring back Kate and Amelia for at least occasional specials or something.

It’s getting hard to listen lately - I miss Tea Time and Juliet has gotten so negative and snobby that it is ruining Jam Session too. This used to be a favorite feed and now I struggle to get through an episode.

Amanda sounds like she does not enjoy doing this pod anymore. She is so strident and negative now. A pop culture pod should be fun but Amanda brings her Debbie Downer attitude to every topic. Add this to the end of the joyous brilliant Tea Time and the forced downloads of the atrocious What About Your Friends and I’m unsubscribing now.

I started out listening to jam session during the Prince Harry stuff a few years back and eventually switched to tea time because it was more entertaining and I enjoyed the dynamic. Now that tea time is gone, well, I really don’t have a reason to stay here. I’m giving it 2 stars because jam session is alright, but I don’t care about any of the other shows on here (and I’ve given them all a fair shot.) Truly is the end of an era.

Obsessed with the architectural digest coverage on Jam Session and the Not Worth the Tea segment on Tea Time. Also my favorite is when Kaya dings the bell on a category that is going off the rails hahaha so good. Update: so sad to see Tea Time go. And while I am supportive, What about your friends has never hooked me like the other two pods. Honestly though it was a miniseries but I guess it’s a permanent show. I will miss Amelia’s impressions. Will you fill the Friday gap with something else new?

The end of an era. I will miss Friday’s with my girls Liz, Kate, Amelia and Kaya. I’ve been a day one-er. As a long time listener of Jam Session it felt natural to give this a shot. The last episode was epic. Loved hearing your heart felt thoughts and knowing the pod meant as much to you guys as it meant to your listeners. Will miss you all and best of luck. Love the idea of a once a year reunion catch up.

I loved the pods that were released late Friday. They were the most unhinged

i just had to come across this from "house of r" in the last month -- i have never been into this sort of podcast, but this was the best quick overview of all the little memes and weird social media things that i keep seeing but don't even recognize as references. i found it delightful that in a world of excess and people being generally miserable, there's trends like j los love of tjmaxx signage or the bizarrely successful costumes of gweneth on trial or just taylor swift as basically a climate unto herself that also drive me everything we say and do. i know spreadsheets and real life call and so i hope that this sort of content may age beautifully like a coastal grandma or architectural digest interiors articles

Why are you doing this to me?

Tea Time has been my go-to pop culture podcast since 2019, and I am going to miss Liz, Kate, and Amelia SO much. Every Friday, they’ve been like friends that care about the same silly little things that I do. I understand that good things must come to an end… but I really wish Tea Time wasn’t. Wish y’all the best and thanks so much for all the fun content over the years. :’)
