Was I right to hear you are ending your podcast? Your rational voice and balanced guest roster has given me great comfort in the wake of Trumps election. There will be a massive void, for me but, I wish you well in your future endeavors. I’m not crying. Ok, maybe I am crying.

Informative, detailed and knowledgeable unbiased assessment of current news. We are admonished for staying in our news bubbles but it is virtually impossible to find unbiased news. This does it for me.

Truth

I am a Libertarian, but I enjoy Amy’s calm inquisitive approach, where she questions and then listens to expert answers, versus driving talking points and a narrative (and interrupting guests, which is a horrible, yet normalized, format).

Amy provides lucid commentaries, features sound interviews with informed representatives of diverse sectors of the population. This is a must hear podcast.

So level headed and informed. She's the best.

I really like Amy’s discussion topics and guests weed through what’s really going on in our 2020 election. Very informative.

Enjoy the podcasts. A pet peeve follows. Some of the guest comments sound like my High School students in English language classes. I am striving to teach English to students. When I hear them speak like high school students with “I mean, you know and like” it is understandable. We work hard on proper language. “No, I don’t know what you mean” is my go to reply to high school students. We work daily on proper language one hopes to hear from adults in a business setting. To hear it from professional speakers is disheartening. No a good omen for tomorrow. Thanks, Dr. GC

Listened to podcast after seeing Amy on the News Hour - appears to be more balanced than most, I very much appreciate her personal view that she expresses at the end of the podcast

I have followed Amy Walter for years on the PBS NEWS HOUR and was thrilled to learn she has a political podcast! She is intelligent, objective, communicates information effectively and a very trusted source. Thank you for making her more accessible to her audience!!

Keeps her program current, draws on wide variety of sources, goes into the weeds far enough, asks good questions. The late October program on the too loosely reined Big Tech was a great compendium view providing context, criticism, and political movement.

Amy is top tier with political analysis and I find her fair to those she interviews. Easy to listen to and she makes you think about issues. 👍

Amy is great at allowing listeners to think on their own. Her approach is to provide a broad spectrum of viewpoints and let each listener draw a conclusion. We can actually learn something by following Amy Walter.

I subscribed to this podcast for a few months because I generally enjoy Amy Walter’s perspective on the Sunday morning shows but I just unsubscribed. What drove me to drop it was Amy doing nothing to push back at guests whose comments were pure nonsense. Pete Sessions was one. When he started babbling about “Democrat socialist plans” she should have cut him off but didn’t. If this is just about politely getting commentary from politicians and political consultants with no consideration of holding their feet to the fire when they are speaking untruthfully, I have better things to do with my time.

If you’re sick of echo chamber news, subscribe to this. She’s great at presenting both sides and giving impartial takes. Would assume she leans a little left, but it’s extremely subtle. Love her style of interviewing. Great production too.

Amy Walter is a fantastic political analyst. She is as even-handed as you can get in this polarized era. She has guests from all sides of the political spectrum, and asks probing and thoughtful questions.
