Makes so much sense!
I found this podcast from listening to Heather Robertson’s Healthy Families podcast. I’ve never really heard from the medical community in a way that makes this much sense. Your podcast is truly eye opening & I just hope this is the beginning of the tide shifting on the whole diet culture.

Some good some sadly underprepared
#148 was so disheartening. I was waiting for 62 minutes for anything of sustenance, but so sad... finished the show learning nothing I didn’t already know since I was 12 years old. Prior to that number 146 was actually not bad... somewhat informative, but she needs MUCH MUCH more science and MUCH less REPETITIVE gib gab about things NOT useful at all. Need more sustenance.

Paige brings a calm, compassionate presence to HAES and intuitive eating conversations. She always keeps the language PG so if anyone gets turned off by the profane and fired up demeanor of many anti-diet crusaders, this podcast will resonate well with you. She is as passionate as they, just with a gentler approach.

I have worked with Paige in group settings and privately. Her compassion and empathy provide so much value in navigating the world of food. Her podcasts provide even more information as she interviews many guests dietitians, clinicians, and people with challenges with food. She provides a safe container for her guests to share knowledge and vulnerability. I highly recommend this podcast.

Definitely a must listen to
I really like the way Paige discusses HAES / Intuitive Eating and other weight inclusive issues. She focuses on how to implement these concepts in your daily life and there are some really good podcasts on IE. Listening to her feels like a kind friend and I like her approach of finding the nuances in IE and honoring your own journey. It feels very personal and relatable. She’s one of the first podcasters I started listening to and I keep coming back for more if that tells you anything. Keep up the great and important work Paige!!

Listening to the episode on Intuitive Eating. Thought I would learn something but 20mins through all I hear is empty words and nothing useful or informative at all. And so much of the host explaining of herself “I’m not perfect” things like that. Don’t really want to hear people chitchat on a podcast on nutrition or health, please use a script and have a plan next time

Paige, you have such a talent with not only nutrition science, concepts around EDs/disordered eating/body image, and Intuitive Eating - but also your ability for great conversation, interesting questions, and the skill to tease out the little nuances of diet culture, cultural influences, individual struggle (or successes) that you make relevant to all of us listening, and your compassion and empathy for your guests and audience....you do such a good job. Great Voice
She has a really good voice for this. Other podcasters love to hear themselves talk while Paige is talking because she has good and beneficial things for the listener to hear. She has relevant things to say and she is positive. She creates a great space for self development and continuing recovery even if you’re not in therapy anymore.

Your work is so powerful and yours is a voice that we need to hear. You mentioned in a recent podcast that some people have sought you out on your personal email to criticize you. I don’t understand why anyone would expend energy to be cruel! The strongest sentiment that I hear in what you have to say is compassion. The gentle grace and compassion that you encourage in us as listeners is a powerful gift. There are others in your field who hold an adversarial posture and have a confrontational style. They don’t resonate with me. You do! I hope this is an encouragement for you. You’re work is a lifeline to me and many others and it’s important, Paige. Thank you for it! I think this is the best podcast on intuitive eating. I really appreciate that Paige actually talks about intuitive eating AND nutrition, and she also doesn’t bash on other professionals the way I’ve heard others do on the podcast platform. She is uplifting, calm, and educated! A great podcast!

Nutrition matters podcast is my favorite podcast to listen to!! I learn so much and Paige delivers the information in a very sensitive and relatable way. I am a dietetics student, and they way Paige handles and teaches about nutrition, food, and body image is exactly the way and type of dietitian I want to be. Each podcast addresses current fads and topics that are being talked about. I trust Paige and what she has to say. Totally recommend:)

In listening to Paige’s podcast, I have gained so much knowledge on the aspects of eating and nutrition that is beyond ‘eat this and that’. She has broadened my awareness of other fabulous food psychologists and other amazing men and women who speak to how food can influence our lives and what we can do to make it all positive. I love Nutrition Matters podcast. I have been listening for over 6 months now, and find it to be such a soothing podcast that leaves you thinking. I have found many episodes and guests super relatable in my nutrition and body situation, which is helpful in knowing you’re not alone in a food situation. Paige has a goal of delivering food and nutrition content in a gentle way, which I think she does almost too well. I have definitely learned to be more kind to myself, my approach in nutrition, and to others and their own food situation. Her content is very different than what you would think a “nutritionist” (not a RD) would be saying, ie “don’t eat this or that, that is bad for you, here are rules”, so if that is what you are looking for, this podcast isn’t that. She knows better and would rather have conversations about what is best for us in terms of physical and mental health. Without this podcast, I wouldn’t have learned about Intuitive Eating. I am now reading the book by Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch and loving it and learning so much, so thank you Paige! The only criticism I have is that I do think the more personal and promotional content should be at the end of the podcast, not the beginning, because it can be a turn off when you just want to go straight into the content. But otherwise, thank you Paige for bringing us kind and gentle nutrition! You are making an impact.

I 100% recommend this podcast! I have been listening to Paige's podcast for 2 months now, everyday, 2 episodes a day. She is OUTSTANDING. This podcast (Paige) has truly changed my life for the better and has helped me change my thoughts about societal expectations and pressures. Paige talks about the important topics that are not talked about enough. She picks amazing guests to come on to her podcast that discuss the issues that truly impact our overall well-being. I was just listening to the episode about triggers, and Paige mentioned how much work she puts into this podcast. There is a reason she feels she needs to do this podcast and that reason, in my opinion, is to help change lives for the better. I hope she never stops doing this podcast. Thank you Paige!

Too Much Personal-Opinion Chatter, Not Enough Substance
New to this podcast, but was looking for a good one on nutrition ... something I could listen to for 15-20 min & learn a few scientifically-backed nutrition facts that would serve me in my interest to improve my overall health. Topics would hopefully be current and discuss pros & cons based on scientific studies, and perhaps include brief interviews with an expert in the field. This wasn’t that podcast, at least. Or the two shows I sampled. I listened to two very recent shows. With the first, it took around 7.5 out of about 20 total minutes before the actual topic began; prior to that it was promotional talk about upcoming events or programming of one kind or another. Then, after finally getting started on the topic, there was a lot of “you know me” or “those of you who know me know that I” ... so that in all the time it took to listen to the whole podcast all I learned was about the host’s organizing style—absolutely NOTHING involving nutrition or healthy eating tips, etc. I couldn’t believe it. And it was much the same thing with the second podcast. I even sped it up x2 to see if I could hit upon some substance, but on this one all I ended up learning was that the host “as you all know about me” believes strongly in “intuitive eating”—the title/subject of that show. However, I did not come away with any definitive facts or tips on the how or why that I could remember. Maybe I was too distracted by the self-promoting chatter filling both podcasts. I expected so much more actual knowledge based on the ratings & other reviews. It’s possible that I chose to sample two recent shows that were poorly representative of the overall podcast? I still like the “Quick & Dirty Tips—Nutrition Diva” podcast a lot, and will continue to subscribe to that one, while I keep looking for another nutrition podcast to add to my list.

Paige is amazing! She's so real and talks about topics that are spot on to what I've needed to hear. In fact, I listen to one episode almost every day and if I don't my husband can tell! Haha He says I'm so much more confident with my body and food when I listen to her. I've listened to more than half of her podcasts and it has convinced me to go and see her after 4 years of fighting the fact that I need help. I'm actually really excited! I love her ideas, but I almost didn’t listen to this podcast because It took 8 min to get to the start of the actual topic. Please do this at the end!
