Deluxe built Fabrication
Hey guys y’all are a fun group of guys to listen to. I’m just now on episode 20. I’ve been a metal fabricator for the past 15 years. Business owner for the past 4-5, I really like the business banter and the day to day stories of your lives. Welcome to Texas Mikey! I’m on the cusp of making moves into the digital fabrication and collecting actual woodworking tools. Also looking into building a building so its really nice to have all the different topics all in one podcast! Thanks guys! Keep up the good work! Cody Deluxebuilt.com Deluxe_Built

Awesome!!!!
I started listening to you guys as someone with a common interest as a Builder/Remodler/Woodworker but honestly that connection isn’t even necessary. You guys are a great team on the podcast and you always keep my attention! I enjoy following you both on Instagram and then finding out more about what’s going on in the podcast. Keep up the awesome podcast!
huh uh why
One of the best!
This is a podcast that keeps you entertained the whole time that you are listening. I have never binge listened to one before this one and can’t wait for my next fix. Heard about the podcast through Kyle’s Instagram and it took me exactly two weeks to listen to every episode that has been out. I have learned a lot from watching RR Buildings on YouTube and I think that he is about to cost me a lot of money, (cough cough Martinez...). It is fascinating watching him and his small crew build the buildings in such short time and with such perfection. I had heard of Mikey The Maker before but had never watched anything that he has put on YouTube. His love for Woodpecker Tools is second to none and I too have been collecting the amazing tools myself. Ed, well, I don’t think he’s ever coming back... R.I.P.

Mothballs of Fire!
Pulled my ancient itunes account out of mothballs to write this review! I could not find a spot to leave one on Spotify (Android User). I am 20 episodes in, in one week, and I cannot stop listening! Great content with lots of laughs and great insights into making the jump to pursuing your dream. I have been following Kyle on YouTube for over a year and cannot believe I am just now getting into this podcast. I am thrilled to have been exposed to new creators such as Mikey The Maker, Ed Ford (Shapeoko), and other creators that have been mentioned on the show so far. Every episode gives me some extra motivation to keep working towards my dream of running my own construction business and no longer working for someone else. It also helps remind me that even Instagram/YouTube celebrities live like us peasants but are still able "live the dream" as Kyle says. I feel like these guys could be my best friends, and I greatly enjoy their banter and appreciate their vast knowledge. Thank you guys for this great experience, please do not stop any time soon. I still have quite a ways to catch up to your current timeline!

Sometimes I forget I'm not actually on the show
As I binged my way through the most recent episodes (everthing since just before 2019 - which I binged previously) while frantically renovating a nursery - I sometimes forgot I wasn't actually part of the show and was reminded by the confused looks of my wife as I was carrying on a conversation with my isotunes or BT speaker....Don't worry Kyle, my windows aren't trimmed yet either (at least in this room) taking on a room by room 100yr old house reno can be overwhelming at times, but the conversations here help me cruise through the more tedious tasks

Congrats on the new job Mikey!!

Amazing duo.
Mikey and Kyle are always very entertaining. It feels like Im hanging with some friends when I’m listening to the podcast. Whether they are talking about tools, tips, or just what’s going on in their life, it’s always a great to listen and I look forward to the next episode. I would recommended this duo to anyone looking for a great time.

Down to earth while loving wood
Just a pair (sadly without Ed) of men who love wood, and aren’t afraid to talk about tough subjects and showing their sensitive side. Mikey is this cool millennial who drives a Tesla, while Kyle is a post frame barn builder that owns 23 circular saws and 41 drills...seriously, this guy loves tools! These two have a dynamic that makes my 20 minute commute feel like 19 minutes. Keep doing what your doing. Listener and patron 4 life!

Honestly is there a better podcast out there. I feel like I’m hanging out with 2 good friends every time I listen.

My #2 Podcast after Dax Shep
Great show that not only provides entertainment, but one of the only shows I listen to and find myself smiling while listening to you two. Hope you guys continue to find time to record and keep on keeping on!

Good show.
I really appreciate the different perspectives of the hosts. Ed (RIP) is super intelligent on a lot of stuff; I didn’t know anything about CNC before this show. Mikey is a social media guru and it’s cool to see how he grew in his wood working really quickly. I’m jealous of his tools. Kyle is the man. I really respect his work ethic and positive attitude.

Unpredictable: Like an ITunes username
I’ve been binge listening to this show over the past month and finally caught up with the lastest episode so I figured it was time to pen my review. The dynamic between Mikey and Kyle feels like being part of a conversation between true bros that you could spend all day with. I truly enjoy and appreciate how each episode will have a general course of discussion but moves beyond that into what the guys have going on personally, professionally, and aspirations for both in the future. Selfishly I would love to see episodes churned out on the daily but any time with these guys feels worth the wait. This whole review sounds really flashy but boils down to this; the topics are top notch, the moments are moving, and the eye contact is forever deep an awkward. Looking forward to the rest of 2019 and onward to at least 2029 when we get that 10 year episode. Keep up the great job, and lastly Edward R Ford your silky smooth Radio DJ voice is missed on the podcast, hope to hear you soon. All the best AJ Ps I don’t actually know what my iTunes username is.. please let me know. Thanks

Listen to them all
I enjoy listening to this podcast. I always get a good laugh at least once per episode. Two, sometimes three friends (if Ed joins in) sharing tips, tricks and even good life advice around. The open, honest conversation and witty banter with one another makes it a great listen.

Long time listener, third time reviewer
Why would someone review a podcast three times you ask? Well it’s because the podcast keeps evolving and like a fine wine gets better with age. While Mikey & Kyle are kings of witty banter and will keep you laughing, they also aren’t afraid to tackle tougher conversations and topics. If that hasn’t sold you, then the new intro to the “review of the week” segment will…imagine Michael Buffer and 1990’s NBA Jams had a baby

My child arrived just the other day He came to the world in the usual way But there were planes to catch, and bills to pay He learned to walk while I was away And he was talking 'fore I knew it, and as he grew He'd say "I'm gonna be like you, dad" "You know I'm gonna be like you" And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon Little boy blue and the man in the moon "When you coming home, dad?" "I don't know when" But we'll get together then You know we'll have a good time then My son turned ten just the other day He said, thanks for the ball, dad, come on let's play Can you teach me to throw, I said, not today I got a lot to do, he said, that's okay And he walked away, but his smile never dimmed It said, I'm gonna be like him, yeah You know I'm gonna be like him And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon Little boy blue and the man in the moon "When you coming home, dad?" Was a fill in podcast til episode 33
Yes, I know this isn’t too much of a ringing endorsement, but I ve been catching up on this pod between all of the others I listen to, Until episode 33.... Mikey dubbing Kyle’s voice was the funniest thing I’d ever heard on a podcast anywhere... and I stand sorting mail for a few hours everyday, so I’ve listened to a lot of podcasts. Do it more, Mikey... Do it more... Maybe have Kyle do Ed’s voice when he’s not on for a podcast, that would probably be even funnier.

Great show
Started listening to this after Kyle Put it on his IG and now I can’t stop. This is amazing, it’s so real nothing scripted and I find myself laughing out loud every episode. Definitely worth the listen.

A genuinely good maker podcast
I listen to a lot of maker podcasts. This one is in my top 3 because Mikey and Kyle are just hilarious and relatable. The dead eye stares, the occaisional bso bad its funny joke, all these little moments just let the listener know that these guys dont take themselves too seriously while dropping knowledge bombs of building stuff, creating content, and having fun doing it. These guys have inspired me to start making my own content and listening to this podcast definitely gives me a push in the right direction. RIP Ed miss you buddy

Definitely Not Oxiclean
This podcast won't remove stains, freshen your clothes, and repair your marriage like the power of Oxiclean but it will provide you with a good laugh and some solid maker wisdom. Join our 2.5 hosts Mikey "Gym Rat" the Maker, Kyle "No Window Trim" Stumpenhorst, and Edward "Arrrrr" Ford as they conquer the world of making things.

There was 3, and now there’s 2.
Kyle and Mikey, just a couple bros hanging out and talking shop and life. Always a good time. Need to get Ed back for a few episodes. Keep it up guys!

A great way to pass the time
I really enjoy this podcast. I enjoy the randomness of topics, listening to the guys bantering about their lives and talking about what excites them. They have a really good dynamic.

Why I Look Tired and Sad...
I look tired and sad because after two weeks of binge-listening to "If you build it" I have finally caught up and now I have to wait for the new episodes to come out one at a time. I love listening to the masters of making when I drive and in the shop while I build stuff. In 30 1 hour episodes they provided entertainment and completely changed the way I approach making stuff, social media, content creation, and small business ownership. Thank you Mikey, Kyle and Ed!

The Three Studs Keeping it Going!
You three guys keep me entertained and captivated on my drives for work. I knew about your podcast when you started it but never took the time to listen to it. I started listening 2 weeks ago and just finished Episode 30. Love hearing the honesty and true values of these guys and knowing that they aren’t faking anything through social media. Started with only knowing of Kyle, and now know of two other guys who are passionate and killing it at their game! Keep it up guys! This. Is. Pure. Inspiration.

Great Podcast
Just found this podcast and it’s terrific. HOWEVER... needs more Clash of Clans talk! Yeah pole barns are ok, CNCs are cool, but CoC is where it’s at! 🤣

An odd group of 3 celebs
Who woulda thunk that Justin Timberlake, Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Eminem would have such a great podcast. They even talk about CNCs, which I guess Eminem has a big passion for, post frame buildings, which Dale builds on his spare time, and woodworking which JT is murdering. Overall an amazing podcast, really down to earth, even if JT looks tired and sad all the time. 5/5

The Best
I got in trouble for laughing out loud in class while listening to an episode.

Not your typical buddy/maker podcast...
Most maker related podcasts are friends hanging out being supportive of one another. This podcast often veers into an uncomfortable territory - where you’re not quite sure if the hosts are just busting chops or there is a thread of truth to their comments. This isn’t a negative - in fact it makes the conversation unique and exciting. Another plus is the very different perspectives these three hosts bring to the conversation. Great new addition to my podcast rotation.

I follow all of these guys on IG. Absolutely hooked on this podcast. Makes the drive to work more bearable. Great to hear other people talk about common issues we all have. Mikey always sounds like he is half asleep, but still fun to hear the banter

Fantastic conversations about business, building and online presence
I love the guys of If You Build It, I enjoy hearing the process of building their own businesses. Hearing tips, struggles and fun aspects of their journeys makes me excited to be a business owner myself one day!

Therapy for Makers
Keeping yourself motivated every day can be a challenge for any maker. Ed, Mikey and Kyle have just what the doctor ordered to cure those inevitable motivational and creative lulls that infect even the most productive maker. If you don't come away from every episode with a booster shot of enthusiasm and energy then call the coroner, because you must be dead. And as I'm finding out for myself, podcasting is hard. Thank you guys for putting in all the effort to make this show one of my favorites. -Eddie K.

I'm probably not going to listen to more than one...umm...wrong
I only listened to this podcast because I follow Kyle on IG. I thought, "Kyle has a podcast? I'll give it a listen. Probably about how to build post-frames I guess.. Wonder who the other 2 guys are." I honestly thought I would listen to just one podcast. Not planning on building post frames any time soon. And then when I heard that Mikey was a woodworker and Ed was a CNC manufacturer, the chances of me listening to more than one went way down. Don't get me wrong...they seemed kind of cool, but still...post frame, woodworking and CNCs are not a part of my everyday life. I'm a kitchen and bath remodeler, after all. But by the time I finished the first podcast I was hooked. Not only have I become interested in all three industries (I have since set up my woodworking tools I'd had in storage in my garage and bought my first Woodpeckers tool; I've been watching Shapeoko videos with interest and wondering if I actually probably need one; and have enjoyed the inside look at Kyle's business) I also have thoroughly enjoyed listening to these 3 hosers talking smack almost the entire time. It feels like I am sitting at a diner table with 3 friends talking about their week, their problems, their plans and how miserable Mikey is without his wife in the house. That guy needs his woman to rub lotion into his back tat! Even if their industries aren't your thing, give it a listen...because this is the only place you can hang out with Ed, since he has foresaken IG apparently forever. Come back to IG Ed!

Great info and even better guys!
I cannot even begin to explain how fantastic the information and insight is from these 3 guys! They talk about real life issues and apply them to regular people like myself who are trying to venture out of the hobby life and into business. The suggestions and tips about social media presences and how to navigate content comes from people who are doing it, and doing it really well. Ed’s encouragement to people trying to start up their own business is so REAL and relevant. I love how Mikey is new to woodworking but continues to learn and soak up info from the vast IG community all the while teaching listeners how to do the same thing! Kyle’s ability to manage a thriving business, successful wife, and his kids is really fun to listen too. All 3 of these guys have a hunger to help people succeed in social media and business, it is so refreshing to listen to yall! Thanks and keep up the good work! P.s. I always laugh at your jokes Mikey!

Im seriously worried about eds whereabouts
A bearded man, a man with glasses, and a man with a huge back tat walk into a bar..... and If You Build it was born! The three of you make such an unassuming great combo for podcast hosts. Kyle brings the knowladge of a hammer swinging buisness owner, mikey brings insane social media knowladge and ed brings sweet info about cnc that I would have never known before. Throw in alittle life and family action and it all comes together in a magically informative and funny podcast. Also still really want to see that back tat.... just sayin Hoping this is just the start for If You Build It!

3 bros talking about bro stuff
I drive a lot for my job and I really do enjoy listening to this podcast. You three have fantastic bro chemistry all while drawing the listener glorious pictures of kyle’s untrimmed windows in his home or Mikey’s sweet back tat. Definitely a 5 star listen!

Builders talking about out to get your name out there.
I used to idolize Kyle for his skill, drive and abilities as well as his beard. But now after shaving I resent him. Not because of the lack of beard but because some how he looks even more manly and handsome, when the rest of us look like fat white face babies when we shave. Luckily I can just LISTEN to this great podcast in ignorant bliss and not have to be mocked by kyle’s Thor like jaw line.

Just an Honest Review...
Ladies and gents if you're looking for a podcast that will score you that high school crush, make you more mentally fit than Tony Robbins, and provide you with more information than a volume set of Britannica encyclopedias, well this isn't it.... its much more. 3 men, 3 minds, and 1 mic to rule them all. This podcast is bob the builder, Dexters Laboratory and Ed,edd and eddie all rolled into one making me relive those saturday morning cartoons as a kid. Thank you guys for taking the time to talk, give advice and answer questions . By far one of the best podcasts.

Three wolf moon shirt
You 3 are the epitome of greatness!! Every time I see a three wolf moon shirt at Walmart I think of you guys. This podcast is the essence of a wolf’s howl, calling on his pack to assemble. I’m not sure how you guys build anything when you’re constantly CRUSHING it.

Ever episode is oozing with excitement!
Mikey - A face made for radio. The most “hood” of the bunch. He’s got the crazy back tattoo to prove it. Don’t meet this homie in a dimly lit alley. A wonder wiz kid in the shop. Also, Kyle's moms best friend. Kyle - Bearded or beardless, his handsomeness can be felt strait through your ear tubes. A master at both poles and barns, his pro tips can’t be beat, unless your playing him at Fortnite. Sorry Kyle, Fortnite is a younger mans game. Edward - Brilliant. Could honestly be a radio host.
