I’ve listened to several episodes now but 357 has been so helpful. I’ve listened through it a couple times and am still getting new value nuggets from this episode and has been helpful to see where I’ve wrongly looked at coaching vs performance management. Definitely a good tool for your personal leadership development tool belt!

In 260 Chris vocalizes something I’ve never been able to put into words. I manage a team of 4 in a fast paced learning environment and Chris nails it with his 4 requirements for successful teaching Also Lorenzos comparison to a cooking show was hilarious and so true

I've been in leadership for the majority of my career and this show is like a companion for me on my journey. Leadership can sometimes feel lonely but when I listen I always feels like someone has my back!

I was given the wonderful opportunity to experience leading in a non traditional space with the guidance of people who work directly with Lorenzo. And it was through this that I was given this series. I have learned so much from this in regards to helping those I was responsible for supporting and it has carried over to my actual position within my company… I almost feel like this is required listening to truly understand to to be an effectual leader and to provide the best support… make sure you take it all in and prepare to be transformed.

As a life long “leader” I know it is necessary to be a life-long learner. Chris and Lorenzo are the right teachers for the job! Don’t take my word only, listen and learn for yourself!

As an engineer with experience in software, I was drawn by the concept of "hacking" leadership. Can it be hacked? Chris and Lorenzo do a great job with longer interviews and short ones like "thoughtful thursdays" to give you that leadership boost you need. Keep it up!

Loved the Thoughtful Thursday series, especially the one where Chris shared an article from Brenda. I thought this line to be especially relevant with self-discipline: “...disciplining yourself to say no and learning to focus on what’s important are essential parts of becoming a more effective leader.”

I really enjoy this podcast however, they both say an abundantly high amount of “ummms...”. I like to listen to podcasts and learn in the car, which they have good material. But, listening to two of the later (more recent) podcasts still showcases a lot of the distraction using the ummm and Ughs which over time will get better. Maybe crop out before posting live? Thanks for the feeds.

As a professional working in nonprofit, I wasn’t sure this would be relevant to my work because it’s largely told through a retail lens. However, I continually find that the topics span well past retail. Some of the content in the first and second episodes helped me prepare for (and subsequently land) a huge promotion at my job. Highly recommend for anyone looking to boost their leadership skills and think more critically about their own leadership style.

I don't have a lot of time to listen to podcasts. My commute to work is 25min and I love that I can listen to an entire episode in that time. I think Chris and Lorenzo have a great dynamic with each other and the things they say are what I've wanted my leaders to say to me my entire career. Keep it up guys!
