I’m currently a rookie at a fire department and enrolled in the academy. I love listening to this podcast in the car on the way to school. I’ve learned so much!

I recently discovered these podcasts and they are my favorite! The last one made was in January 2021. Are they no longer being produced? As a college student in fire science, I’ve learned so much so far just in these videos that piggy backs from my college classes!

I came upon Chief Lamb’s podcast and ability to keep the listener engaged. I have a lot of fun being able to interact and post ideas when listening live on Sunday evenings at 8pm. He always takes the extra time to read your input with the podcast. Sometimes great ideas are shared and other times....not so great from the chat room participants. However, Chief Lamb is always respectful, humble, and great at interpreting chat room conversations to flow into a live podcast. I listen and post through YouTube. If your a fire service employee don’t bother listening, however if your a true firefighter at hart and love the profession, I recommend the 1 hour block of time on Sunday evenings at 8pm. Good information on performance enhancement on and off the fire ground

I came across Pete's podcast and been listening weekly ever since. His message is perfect, and always well presented. His messages serve with great purpose. I've used some of the lessons learned in my Station and with my crews. Keep up the great work, Chief!

Chief Lamb's wisdom and humor is something every firefighter should hear. Love this podcast.

This is by far the best training podcasts that I listen to and I listen to quite a few both fire related and non-fire related. Chief Lamb keeps on top of today's issues and this is not tailored to only large departments. Chief Lamb's audio is great and can be compared to audio quality of shows produced by larger companies. Just download an episode enjoy and plan to be hooked on the information to take back to your department.

I am a criminal justice student but i still listen to this podcast becuase public safety is teamwork oriented and the subjects taught can be used in law enforcement. I also get the oppurtunity to learn how fire service really works.

As an aspiring firefighter, I’ve learned a tremendous about the fire service from this podcast. Obviously, I’m not the guy to ask, but Chief Lamb strikes me as very knowledgeable. He is definitely passionate about what he does and a student of his craft. He strikes a good balance with both practical and inspirational material and I like the conversational style he uses. Mr Lamb took the time to coach me in preparation for an upcoming interview and his help went a long way in my interview. The department called me today and I’m moving on in the hiring process. This podcast has been great for me, and I feel like it will be good for firefighters at any level. You should try it. You’ve been missing out.

Excellant podcast. I don't normally write reviews but I feel like Chief Pete Lamb deserves all the praise and accolades for this. I listen to these on my two hour commute to work and in the station when working out. Originally from Ireland but now a career firefighter with the city of Hanford in California, its guys like Chief Lamb who inspired me to want to become a firefighter. I spent a few years living in Boston and I have been known to frequent some bars. I used to meet old senior firemen who used to tell me some funny stories of there time in the service, but sorry I'm getting off topic. This is a really excellent podcast. A lot of great information for everyone. It really gets you thinking. Take what you can from it. It might be applicable to you or your department.

Thanks Chief Lamb. This podcast is provides a ton of useful tips and ideas for firefighters no matter what topic they are interested in or what level they are at in their career. Your podcasts about different historical events really help contextualize where the fire service has been and how those changes impact us everyday. The shows about specific types of fires and hazards are really helpful for thinking about different ways that textbook training is tested. Looking forward to hearing more as I get deeper into my career.

What a great resource for the fire community. One hour bite size training that gets to the heart of every discussion. Chief Lamb is a training officer at heart and it shows. I am glad I found this podcast and would suggest you not only listen but refer it to your friends as well.

Chief Lamb puts out a new podcast every Sunday, and I have to say I have YET to be disappointed. This makes for great training while on the road traveling to and from the fire station as well as when I’m out and about alone and not wanting to listen to commercials all day. Chief Lamb coordinates great discussion on training topics that directly affect all operations on the fire ground. Often incorporates subject matter experts (including himself) that give nuggets that are easy to understand and apply for all experience levels. Excellent podcast that all firefighters can use.
