Me gusta mucho los podcasts de Spanishland School. The back-and-forth between Nate and Andrea is very natural and I feel like I am learning along with Nate!

This is a very fun and easy to follow podcast in Spanish that both intermediate and advanced level Spanish students should be able to learn a lot from. This podcast really helps me personally to improve my grammar, learn new idiomatic expressions in Spanish, learn how to speak Spanish the way native speakers do, improve my ability to communicate diversely different and even very nuanced ideas entirely in Spanish, improve my vocabulary, and become more familiar with how Spanish is spoken in Colombia. Also, really enjoy listening to Nate and Andrea do this podcast together. They are a delightful couple to listen to.

So many great things about this show. Andrea is very clear and easy to understand. She explains things well. And together they have a good, entertaining dynamic. I’m hooked. Thanks for all the hard work that goes into this show.

Best part of this podcast is that it's all in Spanish but also understandable to even an intermediate learner. It challenges you but doesn't overwhelm you so that you don't understand anything. And having Andrea (fluent-speaker) with Nate (the learner) is the perfect pair. I could write so much more but it's good I promise and subscribe to Andrea's Emails! Thank you Andrea and Nate!

I love listening to these two while driving. I am able to learn more conversational Spanish. They go through exercises which are super helpful to advance your Spanish!

This podcast is the perfect podcast for individuals at intermediate level working their way up to advanced. Almost all the speaking is in Spanish, but at a level and a pace that stretches my skills without making me feel lost. And the personalities are so much fun!

This podcast has been far and away the tool that’s improved my Spanish the most. Andrea speaks in a way where I can understand her so I’m actually absorbing what’s being said as opposed to just comprehending 50% of what’s said. I’d say the biggest value-add is having her husband Nate co-host the show since he’s also learning and is at an intermediate+ level. So every struggle that I have Nate also has; Andrea then walks through what the correct answer is and why which is immensely helpful to me.

Nate and Andrea clearly put their hearts into this podcast and have a passion for helping others to grow in their language abilities. I hold a degree in the Spanish language and find Andrea’s methods of instruction to be helpful, easy, and entertaining! I learn something new and I laugh every time I listen to a show. Españolistos has a unique approach with an American voice learning from an authentic Spanish speaker. Much more relatable this way and helps students retain info. The interplay between Nate and Andrea makes the podcast more entertaining too. Keep doing your thing!

If you are past the beginning stage this is a great educational and entertaining podcast.

So far, this is my favorite Spanish podcast. Andrea is smart and speaks clearly; Nate is a gracious, positive language learner; the family members are fun to learn about. My goal is to listen to all 300+ episodes.

I enjoy listening to this podcast to continue to improve my Spanish fluency. The format is especially helpful because it scaffolds the instruction while keeping the content relevant and comprehensible

I enjoy listening to this podcast as well as the YouTube videos (“Spanishland School” channel) from Andrea and Nate. They speak in a clear and easy to follow manner that is perfect for intermediate to advanced listeners. They cover grammar and culture and lifestyle, so there is a good variety. As an college student studying Spanish, I find this podcast a helpful resource to supplement my studies, especially in terms of listening comprehension. If you’re looking for a challenge, I recommend speeding up the audio to 1.25. ¡Buena suerte!

Although I am a beginner in learning Spanish the suggestions given by Andrea and Nate when I started to follow their podcasts have been of great importance to me as I continue to practice listening to and speaking Spanish. Their teaching style is easy going, entertaining and very informative making the learning process most enjoyable. It is because of this I have been able to incorporate learning Spanish into my daily routine using all types of media. I am willing to make lots of errors as I look for opportunities to speak Spanish at work, in my neighborhood and with neighbors in my building. I am truly grateful for what I continue to learn by listening to them on their podcasts and on Youtube. If you truly want to enjoy and be very satisfied with improving your Spanish I highly recommend following what Andrea and Nate have to offer.

Nate and Andrea do such a good job teaching! All the episodes are fun and interesting! I’ve learned so much listening to this podcast and other sources from Spanish Land School. Andrea is the best spanish teacher out there that I’ve found. Nate reminds me of myself being married to a Colombiana. My wife is always correcting my spanish.

I enjoy listening to the podcast since they discuss cultural issues as well as teach grammar and vocabulary. It is just perfect for my level of Spanish and I am definitely considering going to Colombia to their language school based on discussions on the podcast. Nate is especially fun to listen to as I learn along with him when he is speaking on the podcast.

I listen to Españolistos podcast weekly. Sometimes I go back and listen to episodes again. Andrea and Nate make the content super fun, interesting and educational all at the same time. They are a great team. Andrea is super clear & easy to follow. Nate adds the humor and reminds us that achieving fluency in Spanish is a process. My Spanish fluency has really improved since I started listening. After listening for a while I decided to become a member of Spanishland School. Vamos!

Great content, clear instruction and funny. Love how she’s always correcting Nate! I started listening as a beginner and could only understand a fraction of what they were saying. A year later and I can usually understand most of the content.

I have done several intensive Spanish immersion programs in Mexico and Spain as well as weekly virtual lessons with one of my Mexican teachers but could not continue to elevate my Spanish without Spanishland School and Andrea & Nate’s Españolistos podcast. They accompany me on morning walks with my dogs and commutes to work. I look forward each week to new content and stories and they make learning fun every day. Nate’s occasional gramática errors and Andreas gentle corrections make me less nervous to speak & it’s okay to make mistakes! Thank you Nate and Andrea!

This is an excellent podcast for improving your Spanish. Andrea speaks really clearly so it’s easy to understand her and I love that she corrects Nate’s mistakes in real time (because I frequently make the same mistakes so I learn a ton from Nate!). Andrea explains complicated grammar topics really succinctly and clearly. I find I retain so much more when I listen to one of her explanations as compared to other podcasts. It’s also super helpful that there are transcripts so I can follow along on some of the more difficult conversations. I have learned so much from this podcast! Thank you both for creating this great resource.

I have been trying to learn Spanish for 3 years. Your podcast is a game changer perfect for expanding my existing vocabulary and really training my listening skills. By listening to only Spanish and hearing Nate learn new words I can really identify with him and it keeps me interested. I listen every morning on my way to work. And it helped me expand my vocabulary to communicate better with my Spanish speaking friends! In less than 2 months my native Spanish speaking friends saw a huge difference I’m my Spanish they can understand me better and I can understand them too! Thank you both! This podcast is good for high beginner to advanced learners. I am a high beginner and can’t understand everything, but the transcript helps me tremendously. And I like listening to it when I drive.

This is a great podcast for intermediate level Spanish speakers looking to improve. Andrea is a great teacher and the podcast is very well done.

As an intermediate Spanish speaker I am always seeking ways to get better. I really appreciate the clear Spanish accent and the episodes in which poor American Nate is quizzed. He is droll, good humored and I feel a connection which makes learning with him a warm and effective experience. Highly recommend this podcast!

This podcast will help you improve you Spanish and make you laugh at the same time! Andrea is an excellent instructor and her husband Nate is just like you and I - trying to learn a second language fluently, but yet…still making mistakes. After listening to their podcast for a few months, I finally joined and became a “Parcero” - their online Spanish school. I highly recommended it and this podcast!

I love, Españolistos. The show has a variety of subjects to stretch/reinforce vocab, which is great. Having access to transcripts, hearing Andrea’s corrections and explanations of Nate’s grammar and usage are all super helpful, and Nate’s good humor about those corrections encourages me to just give it a try. I’ve learned a lot about Colombia and Colombian Spanish. Me ha ayudado mucho!

Andrea and Nate are focused, clear and concise. Episodes are focused on understanding conversational Spanish and grammar. The content is presented in a clear, well organized manner and the information density is perfect. However, what really makes this a superior podcast is that Andrea stresses how native speakers would say something, rather than the stilted and overly formal manner found in many other teaching sites.

I just started learning Spanish and this podcast is by far my favorite. I love listening to a native speaker and non native speaker. Listening to Nate gives me hope that someday I will be able to communicate in Spanish too.
