Best!
If it means anything, I have never taken time to write a review, however this podcast is top tier content. It helped me find my way into something I never thought I’d get into. I recently started listening from the 1st episode and I have been binging since. Thank you for the content!

Intrigued..
Who knew these stories could be so similar to true crime? 😃 I love this podcast I’m so glad I came across it. Actually found it on LinkedIn via a post by Rachel Tobac! I had started following her a bit ago cannot tell you how I heard of her but knew I wanted to be just like her. So here I am. A fan of your work now. Great job. I love it. 🙌🏽

The ONLY cybercrime podcast that’s worth time!
I have looked for other cyber security podcasts that are both informative, and entertaining and this is by far the only one that’s both while staying up to date on new tech and threats. Thanks Jack and can’t wait for more episodes!

Amazing Podcast

Chewing on Chocolate?
Disgusting, starts an episode and guy is chewing and talking with chocolate in his mouth. This is an audio format guy. What’s wrong with you? Used to be considerably better. Now he drops down to a whinny voice when trying to emphasize with a subject. Very off putting. He also likes to beat a dead horse, we don’t need him to reiterate a point for an umpteenth time each episode

Interesting content
Some good story telling while bringing awareness to the people

The best cybersecurity podcast out there
I found Darknet Diaries by doing a google search for a reddit post of the best podcast for cybersecurity. After the first episode i was hooked. I have listened to every episode at least twice some more. I learned so much from the podcast and have since been fascinated in cybersecurity. Some of the info given in the podcast actually helped me a lot in the course im taking. Keep up the unrivaled work Jack you are awesome.

Great podcast just not enough!
I was on Patreon a while back. I’ve always loved this podcast, but Jack took a long break & stopped putting out content for a while. I dropped my membership. Still subscribed to the free episodes. There aren’t enough. I wish Jack could have hired some staff and ramped up production instead of slowing down back when the show was at the peak. There’s still no other podcast like this!!! Some shows are too technical! Too much elitism! Not entertaining! Not well done. Etc. This one is perfect in every way!! We need more! Miss you, Jack!!!

Fake laughter

Absolutely amazing!!
Stories are extremely well told with those techie details that make most people’s eyes gloss over extremely well explained. You will not lose track of the story because the concept is beyond your understanding. Trust me, you will understand it. The narrator will pause and explain the detail to allow you to further absorb the story. I have recommend this podcast to many and have never been told that is less then amazing. Please support this podcast so the world can continue enjoy these amazing tales of tech. My recommendation to a new listener is to go through the podcast and pick something that catches your eye and listen, you will not regret it!!!

Commentary is over the top
The subject matter is fascinating but the host is so over the top and lays on the commentary so thick it’s obnoxious. You’re overacting. Your audience is intelligent and doesn’t need a 2 x 4 whomping them over the head with the obvious. Other than that it’s a pretty good podcast.

One of the Best Podcast Around
I look forward to episodes from this podcast more than any others I listen to. Very entertaining and extremely informative.

Best of the best
Production Value is A+. Content is the same. I always enjoy the show and the hosting is engaging. One of the best produced and well researched tech podcasts. I also appreciate the lack of corporate buzzwords. LONG LIVE DARKNET DIARIES!

I know nothing
About tech or security but I can’t stop listening. This is because Jack is a great storyteller. He does not dumb down the subject which makes listening challenging, not just a passive slog. If you think this show might not be for you because you don’t understand tech, listen to the two part episode about the Xbox hackers. As good as anything you’ll hear in “This American Life.”

Very engaging
Jack, the host, is doing an excellent job. He not only conducts interviews but also conducts thorough research beforehand to provide more insightful content. I find his interviewing style to be very engaging. This podcast is one of my favorites, and I always learn something new from it. Thank you, Jack!

Amazing show!!!
I absolutely love listening to Jack and his guests! I listened to every show from beginning to the ending credits! My favorite is probably the episode about the Greek telecom company and the wiretapping! A little scary though!

Amazing and should be a requirement
This podcast is perfect for all listeners, and provides easy to listen and learn from
I Love Apple Podcasts
Something has changed…
I’ve been listening since Jack first started making these podcasts. There is nothing else like this out there. Lots of fascinating stories. “Tennessee” is probably my all time favorite. But lately, I’ve noticed a changed. The content quailty and overall story telling during the past 18 months has declined-alot. The show is not nearly as good as it used to be. Not sure if that’s because all the good stories have been told or if something changed in the format…but it feels like a few shortcuts are being taken to get the next show out. This is still my favorite podcast and I’m hoping the content will improve.

Steve from Blue’s Clues
This guy has the same cadence as Steve from Blues Clues. For that, 5 stars. Also, the pod is great.

Great listen
Great podcast I can’t stop listening to. Lotta variety but all revolving around IT

The Only Podcast
This should be required listening for anyone with a cell phone, computer, or other smart device. As entertaining as it is informative- as a public service, DD should be a prime time show and number one rated podcast.

Awesome Show
5 out of 5. The only podcast that I listen to.

Well done
Good production, research, host, etc. the subject matter on the other hand makes my faith in humanity decrease. So much energy and time wasted on nothing.
MKULTRA83
One of my favorites.
I find myself waiting for the next episode. It’s taught me so much about the net that I only knew it passing and second and third hand stories. I even can relate better to my wife who has a background in cyber security. So now her after work rantings make sense. Keep it up! 😉👍🏻

Absolutely awesome

Great balance of content for both techies and non-techies!
Great job at providing a good overview for Jon-techies, while still proving the deeper dive those who know more. I’d love to get some episodes where you geek-out and truly deep dive into some of these topics… that would be great!

Best cyber podcast!
Awesome podcast!! I’m always excited when a new episode drops. Super interesting stories and as someone who works in cybersecurity, it’s not only interesting but a great entertaining way to learn what vulnerabilities are/were out there and what pitfalls have been exploited in the past. Having said that, I think a lot of these episodes aren’t just for the tech savvy and are just all around fun and entertaining stories told really well that anyone would enjoy. Give it a try! Always looking forward to new episodes!!

Really interesting content. Really horrible host voice
I like the content and it’s well produced but the hosts inflections / voice sounds like something from Sesame Street

Radiolab of Hacker Stories!
I’ve been binging on this podcast for a few months. It’s as if you took Radiolab and made it about hacking or infosec stories. Give it a go. You’ll be hooked.

I love it but
This podcast is well researched and has a variety of very interesting topics, often with a relevant anecdote from the author prior to the body of the publication. However, the podcaster says “sh’nunt” or “d’nunt” instead of shouldn’t or didn’t, and I got friendzoned by a girl who had this exact same vocal particularity so it stings at times to hear it, but that’s my little cross to bear. Great podcast bro keep it up.

The Mimic of Punjab is Sort of inaccurate
This is a fun podcast but this episode is garbage. Sure scammers exist everywhere, but India has one of the largest scammer network. The headquarters are in Calcutta. They have politicians and Police under their payroll. Due some of the YouTube influencers the country was forced to take action. But it’s all for public display. They literally have organizations whose sole interest is scamming people, I am hundred percent sure that these punjabis being scammed are by people within India. There is no evidence that it was in Pakistan punjab. Plus Indian politics is corrupted and the news media are exaggerating liars. As as Pakistan name came in, I knew they were going to shift the blame there make up some lie, Mr Tarun watching a video, great evidence. 😂
