Essential listening
As a practitioner of and parent in classical education—the great conversation—I find the conversation richer and deeper with the Forma crew in the “room.” Thanks for always-great content.

All of Circe’s offerings share a quality approach to the subject at hand. Never taking itself too seriously, personable hosts draw listeners in to feel like part of a community of classically minded and spirited educators.

Great Content, Needs Editing
The content on this podcast is fantastic. On the Close Reads episodes in particular, I could do with a lot less of the hosts' chasing rabbits and giggling. It gets distracting and grating, especially the pitch and volume. The Flannery series was especially enjoyable.

Growth spurt
If I was a plant, the Circe Institute would be Miracle Grow. My family and I have been so enriched by the books we are reading, the Latin we're memorizing, the Homer we're singing... all things planted and watered by the people behind these podcasts and resources. Thank you Circe folks! To God be the glory.

Like a Breath of Fresh Air for Educators
These podcast cause you to think deeply about all things related to education and the soul. Many of them are worth listening to over and over again. Anything with Andrew Kern or Wes Callahan is usually very thought-provoking. I find myself pausing it to write down what they said and my reflections and plan for implementing what they discuss.

Awesome Content
I am a homeschooling mom of six, and I have enjoyed every CiRCE episode I've tuned into so far! I am a long-time listener of The Mason Jar, from which I glean so much wisdom. I just began listening to Close Reads, and it is so entertaining and fun! I love hearing David, Angelina and Tim dissect the book. I feel like I'm in college again without the essays. The Commons is great, too. A Perpetual Feast is another favorite! I can't wait to hear what Andrew and Wes have to say each time. I only wish those were more frequent. Keep up the great content! Thanks.

Always valuable listening!
It took me some time to warm up to some of the voices on the network, they seemed intellectually pretentious, but I think that was an overly critical judgment on my part. I've come to really enjoy each show and today found myself giggling giddily when I saw the newest episode in my feed. I almost can't wait to do my dishes so I can listen! Circe has become so encouraging and inspiring to me. It's definitely my favorite podcast.

Refreshing and Informative for Homeschool Moms
Update - love this - love it love it! My husband has been even more impressed than I was - he is encouraged, fortified, inspired and taught by listening to Circe podcasts whenever he has a chance. It has been such a gift for him to be able to be deeply thinking through why we do what we do in our home, and to dream about what we might do in the future. Thank you again! As a homeschooling mother of 3, with 5 total blessings 11 yrs - 8 mos, I've found all the CiRCE podcasts wonderfully refreshing and helpful. I am encouraged, informed, and inspired by The Mason Jar especially, but have also loved Ask Andrew and Quidditiy. My husband and I look forward to listening to Close Reads together as we read through the books together. Thank you, CiRCE!

Yes!
I enjoy ALL CiRCE podcasts, but CloseReads is hands down my favorite. I consider David, Angelina, and Tim kindred spirits. (Not to mention the whole FB page community... I have found my people). I started listening last summer when I was reading my children "The Wind in the Willows." I thought I would get some good insights as I enjoyed it with my three boys. I had so much fun listening that I kept on. This whole series has been a shot in the arm.... I am reading for pleasure again, and loving it.

Inspiring
This podcast has been a huge blessing. I have laughed and furiously jotted down book titles while listening to the Close Reads podcast. Cindy Rollins has inspired and spurred me on with new ideas for scheduling our homeschool day. Though I have not read Homer yet, I find myself longing to after listening to Perpetual Feast (The Illiad and Odyssey are on my reading list this year). Thank you for being an inspiration to me. Sometimes it is hard to get "fed" as a homeschool mom, and this podcast has been a fantastic place to be spurred on and challenged. Thank you so much!

A Must Listen
After listening to this podcast for years, I finally will write my first podcast review. I adore every stream, favoriting The Mason Jar. Absolutely worth your time!

Thank you for expanding my horizons
I came to your podcasts through the Mason Jar, but I found a plethora of wonderful minds and ideas. From the note taking I do during Close Reads annual roundup or Brackets in March, to learning about the Green Ember through interviews with the author and others, there have been so many ideas that have percolated through your many offerings. Now that Cindy has a separate podcast, I thought how I could narrow my podcasts, but I can't imagine losing this window on all these great minds.

Best "The Commons" episode ever!
Episode 12, "Building Sturdy Kids," shifted my paradigm about parenting to a new level. I hope there will be a second interview with Mr. McGurdy!

Favorite Podcast
I love this podcast! The range of inspiring guests and the topics they cover are so helpful and encouraging to me. I'm a homeschooling mom to 5 and this podcast has made me want to learn more, teach more, and read more! I love the close reads...it's getting to be an audience to a book club with really brilliant and well-read people. Love it! The Mason Jar with Cindy Rollins is also amazing. Also the discussions on Homer! Okay...they are all great. Thank you for all the time you devote to these wonderful episodes! I look forward to each one.

Mason Jar
Cindy Rollins is the friend/mentor we all wish lived next door. She not only had a lot of wisdom both from her own experience and her extensive study of Charlotte Mason but she shares her wisdom in a humble and gracious way that encourages and inspires

Love CiRCE!
I went to a Liberal Arts college (in the classical sense of L.A.)and there I was told that I couldn't possibly learn everything in 4 years, but that I would have to study and continue learning for 40 years to be truely educated. As a mom of 4 young kids, I thought that those days of educating myself would not be possible for a while. However, listening to your podcasts has re-opened my mind to digging deap and really pondering what is good, true and beautiful in this world. Thank you so much for all you do! I feel I'm more a person by listening.

What a treasure. I'm amazed and so grateful that I have access to this quality of content in my earbuds. My homeschool would not be the same without the work of the circe institute.

David Please Read!
I just discovered Circe this past March. How sad for me, but I am enjoying catching up on this treasure chest of contemplation. I was just listening to Quiddity 52 with John Hodges and felt inspired to write another 5-star review. My other favorite that I immediately shared with all my friends was Ask Andrew on moralizing stories. The entire moralizing “series” is extremely helpful. And per David and Christine Perrin’s request for feedback over a year ago, I have to say YES! Please read and discuss poetry together. I thoroughly enjoyed that episode (Quiddity 53).

Enriching
I have listened to both the Mason Jar and Close Reads for about six months now. They are so very well done and helpful. I have read Jayber Crow and Wind in the Willows along with the Close Reads crew and have really enjoyed the opportunity to hear their thoughts. The Mason Jar has been very helpful and inspiring for life with young children. Highly recommend!

Great podcasts!
Every podcast I've listened to so far has been more than worth the time. Close Reads is always illuminating and fun, The Mason Jar is helpful in understanding Charlotte Mason and how to teach using her methods along with classical methods, and Quiddity is full of engaging, serious scholars who help me to think better myself as well as educate my students. Keep up the good work!

Inspiring!
The CiRCE Institute has helped me to become a better mom and homeschool teacher. I think every homeschooler/educator, and really all parents should hear Sarah MacKenzie's interview with Andrew Kern about teaching from a state of rest. I enjoy the Ask Andrew segments, especially the latest ones on moralizing stories, and really love to hear from Karen Kern. I always learn something new I can use in my own lessons, something that helps me dig deeper and get more meaning and heart from all that we're reading and doing in school.

Mrs.Hardy
I'm so thankful for this podcast- so rich and varied... I can be encouraged throughout the year in my own education as well as my children's. I don't mind some of the pauses because it makes me feel like I am really in a conversation with a person. I don't prefer the over edited, stylized versions of other podcasts like Radiolab, but I can see how the pauses can come off as a bit unnecessary. Top faves are the Mason Jar (I love hearing someone as passionate about CM as Cindy, tidbits about the wonderful work going on in Chattanooga, and having the vastness of CM's works cleared up a bit) and Ask Andrew (Nice and short, relevant, beautiful and wise). Thank you for doing this! Everyone who has a podcast should strive to control and soften their voice like Andrew and David.

Excellent Podcast!
The CiRCE Institute Podcast network provides an excellent feast of ideas to stimulate the mind and imagination along the path to Christlikeness through the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty. It is simultaneously accessible for new-comers to Classical education and yet also engaging for seasoned classical educators at home and in conventional classroom settings. What a resource!
