Heather and Courtney bring you this Spooktober Series episode about a love affair-turned murder in Columbus, Ohio! Join us as we discuss one notorious murder case that originated at Ohio State University and quickly blew up in international headlines. This is the case of Dr. James Howard Snook and his mistress, Theora Hix, from 1929. One author described the case as one that sent waves of “shock, indignation, and disgust throughout Columbus”. The trial testimony was packed with so much illicit material that the newspapers of the time couldn’t report on it.
